Anna Brown is a first-year student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Anna is majoring in Pre-Pharmacy and minoring in Spanish with plans of attending Eshelman School of Pharmacy at UNC- Chapel Hill. She hopes to become a pharmacist and obtain her Masters in Business then open her own pharmacy.

Mairin Daubert is a freshman at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, majoring in Exercise and Sports Science with a minor in Spanish for the Professions. She has interests in medicine and language, and plans to put both of those passions to use in her future career.

Azzell Donaldson is a freshman attending the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He will be in the graduating class of 2017 and currently has no major. His aim is to become a surgeon and he has been following this goal since his mother was hospitalized when he was young.

Sophie Flotron is a freshman at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She plans to graduate in May 2017 with a bachelor of science in biology and a second major in history. She hopes to go to Medical School immediately following graduation and to become a dermatologist.

Akshay Gupta is currently a freshman at the University of North Carolina. He is on track to receive a double major in Economics and Mathematics. His expected graduation is May 2017.

Alyson Helms is a freshman at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is majoring in biology and exercise and sports science due to her interest in the medical field and her desire to help others in their critical time of need. Alyson hopes to go to medical school and pursue her dream of becoming a trauma surgeon and an athletic trainer.

Dylan Kallenbach is a freshman at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is majoring in Applied Sciences in Biomedical Engineering with a minor in Chemistry.

Alex Kirby is a freshman at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, intending to obtain a degree in Business Administration. Her academic interests include mathematics, psychology, and Shakespeare. She is currently a part of an undergraduate business consultant team in the Kenan-Flagler Business Institute on the Chapel Hill campus.

Yingxi Li (Katherine) is a freshman studying in University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, majoring in Business Administration and minoring in Studio Art. She was born in the Cantonese area of China and also speaks Japanese and English. She hopes to work in the multimedia business after graduating.

Alec Martschenko is a student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is a chemistry major pursuing a career in pharmacy with a scholarly interest in the Spanish language.

Logan McCullen is a freshman at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is majoring in Biology with the intention of applying to the Eshelman School of Pharmacy. Logan hopes to obtain her Masters in Pharmacy and go on to work in her hometown of Smithfield, North Carolina.

Jennifer Nguyen is a freshman at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is in the graduating class of 2017 and is majoring in Computer Science with a minor in Chinese and Korean. Due to her love for languages, Jennifer is also learning Japanese and is proficient in Vietnamese.

Hannah Park is currently a freshman at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She graduated from Millburn High School in NJ Spring of 2013, and she hopes to major in Chemistry. She hopes to study diagnostic radiology in the future.

Will Parker is a freshman at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is majoring in history with a specific focus on 19th and 20th century Europe. Influenced by 2 months spent in Spain in 2012, Will is interested in how 20th century European social welfare programs have affected the cultures and economies of modern European states.

Laura Roberson is a freshman at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is pursuing a major in nursing. She will apply to the School of Nursing at UNC in 2015.

Xiaohan Yi is a freshman at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill majoring in Mathematics. She lived in China for 18 years and came to the US this summer for further education and also to experience a different culture. She loves to play different sports and watch movies in her spare time.

Ashley Reed is a Teaching Fellow in the Department of English and Comparative Literature at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she offers courses in rhetoric and composition, literature, and American Studies.
